A DINNER THAT FULL OF SECRETS.

RAHSIA KITCHEN, where the secrets begins..

Located in TERENGGANU. As i stand in front of the restaurant, my eyes cant believe what i see. The place is likes a normal "pondok" that have been repaint. The place is in open space beside the road. the sign only use banner. it shows that word RAHSIA. Then i talked to myself, "what is so RAHSIA about this restaurant". I walked into the restaurant, and all i can see many bulbs hanging at the syiling and also many word of wisdom at the wall of the restaurant. Even though there are no real wall there. the place is quite dim and shady. there are noise from the kitchen and car passing at the road.
SECRETS ARE SECRETS

Later on, i see the food island at the front of the kitchen, there are many food served. i can t see the food really clear because of the lacks of lighting. need to see it closely then i can recognize there food really is.

here are the food that served at the dinner

1.WALDORF SALAD

2. CURRY MEE
3. SIRLOIN STEAK WITH RAHSIA BLACK PEPPER SAUCE
4. CHICKEN ROULADE WITH COCKTAIL SAUCE

5. KAMPUNG FRIED RICE
6. "LORRY DRIVER" JUICE
7. TEH TARIK
8. FRUIT CUT
9. SHEPHERD PIE
10. BROWNIES

FROM ALL of the menu listed, why i bold the shepherd pie...

for me this is the best items that i had that night. the pie is very good and suitable for my taste in food. it is made up with two layer of different items. there are mash potatoes and beef bolognaise. it is well built by the chef at the RAHSIA. the taste of the smooth mash potatoes lingering into my mouth make me feel away from the reality and the perfection of the bolognaise blown me away to the sky. from the first bite, this pie make me feel in love with it. the texture of the pie is very nice and well combine. both of the items are complement each other to create the one big taste of it.
THE LUCKY SHEPHERD PIE

the other items served to me is quite good and very nice.

one more thing. the lorry driver juice....

seriously i was shocked back then when i hear the name of the drink. i was like " what in the world is that???"
then i asked for the explanation about the name. its originally from TERENGGANU. and literally the driver always has this drink when having meal. the juice is made up from three substances. there are "longan" fruit, "cincau" and "gula kabung". the taste is very wild. i fell the fruitiness of the drink but at the same time the cincau bitterness came along dancing together in the throat. what an experience.

and when come to my conclusion, this restaurant is quite nice and elegance in some way. if anyone want some romantic dinner with dim light and good pie. you should come here. taste the pie and you will fly.

for me, i will come back here to get the pie until my stomach cant take it anymore. LOL.

last word from me.....
eat or leave it...
